Excellent accommodation in a great location. The newly renovated apartment was comfortable, quiet, and very well maintained. The breakfast basket was outstanding, and the staff provided exceptional service.

Guests are responsible to pay for any damages that occur during their stay.
No, we currently do not allow pets.
As our properties are located in historic buildings, not all of them are equipped with a lift or step-free access. If you require an accessible apartment or have difficulty with stairs, please let us know as early as possible before your arrival so that we can accommodate you in one of our accessible buildings.
Our reception is located in Vatnsstígur 2. Please note that Vatnsstígur 2 is a pedestrian street, so there is no car access or parking directly in front (with the exception of guests holding an accessible-parking permit).
We kindly ask that you park nearby before coming in to see us at reception, where we will be glad to welcome you and help you settle in.

You will be able to access your apartment via smartphone, using the Flexipass app; it is fast and easy.
On arrival day by 3pm we will send you a code to access the room. Download the APP named FLEXIPASS (iOS and Android). Enter the code provided to you by email on your check-in day, once your room is ready. Please note that the code is all capital letters. Each CODE is valid for only 1 device.
Please contact us if you would like codes for more phones.
Once the CODE has been typed in, please press GET ROOM KEY. Your CODE will be validated and your room number appears in the app. When in front of the door, place your smartphone on the sensor and allow at least 2 seconds for the green light to stop flashing and turn solid.
Our luggage storage room is located at our reception at Vatnsstígur 2, 101 Reykjavík. We will happily store your luggage either prior to check-in, or after you have checked out.
Your apartment will be ready from 3:00 PM on arrival day.
If you arrive early, we are happy to store your luggage at our reception at Vatnsstígur 2, and you are most welcome to relax in reception until your apartment is ready. Early check-in can also be arranged on arrival for an additional fee, subject to availability.
Arriving late is no issue: you can enter your apartment any time after 3:00 PM using the Flexipass app, and our reception is open 24/7 should you need a physical keycard.
Yes, our reception is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You are welcome to visit us in person at Vatnsstígur 2, or reach us by phone at +354 561 1200, and by email at info@rrhotel.is.

Our breakfast basket includes a variety of local cheeses, yoghurts and fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, and a selection of toppings to accompany the freshly baked sourdough bread delivered to your door each morning at 8:00 AM. The basket is brought to your apartment and left in the refrigerator the day before, and you will find the fresh bread on your door handle each morning. Your apartment is also stocked with complimentary coffee and tea. We are happy to prepare vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options with advance notice.
The price is 3,500 ISK per person, per day.
Cancellation and modification terms depend on the conditions under which your reservation was made.
Prepaid, non-refundable reservations cannot be modified or cancelled, and no refund is issued in the event of a no-show.
Flexible reservations made through a third-party booking source should be modified or cancelled through that same channel, including direct bookings through the website.
For flexible reservations made directly on the Reykjavík Residence website, please contact us at info@rrhotel.is with any modification requests.
Baby cots are available at no additional cost; please let us know in advance if you need one. We do not offer rollaway extra beds, but many of our apartments have a sofa bed that can be prepared on request.
Yes. There are two supermarkets within easy walking distance: Bónus on Laugavegur and Krónan on Hallveigarstígur.
Our reception team is happy to assist you with recommending and booking tours and activities. You can also see our recommended tours and tour operators here: https://rrhotel.tourdesk.is/Tour
There is no free parking directly in front of our properties.
The city is divided into paid parking zones, marked by P-signs on the streets, with the zone shown on each ticket machine. As a general rule, the more central you are — closest to Laugavegur and the downtown area — the higher the cost, so Zone P1 is the most expensive and is limited to a maximum of three hours. Zones further from the centre (P2, P3 and P4) are progressively cheaper, and some are free on weekends. The ticket machines display the current rate and hours for the zone you are in.
The easiest way to pay is through a parking app rather than the machines. We recommend EasyPark or Parka; download either app, register your vehicle and payment card, and start a session for your zone.

If you wish to arrive at the hotel quickly and effortlessly, you may hire our private driver, who will meet you at the airport holding a sign with your name and drive you directly to the hotel.
A small car for 1–4 people is 24,200 ISK one way (maximum three large and three smaller luggage items). A large car for 5–8 people is 30,500 ISK one way (no luggage restrictions). To reserve, please email us at info@rrhotel.is with your name, date, flight number, estimated landing time, number of passengers, number of suitcases, and a contact number.
For a more economical option, public bus route 55, operated by Strætó, runs between Reykjavík and Keflavík International Airport. Timetables and further information are available at https://www.straeto.is/en/route-planner/bus-kefairport
City taxis are also available from the airport. They run on meters, so the fare varies with traffic and time of day.
Alternatively, Flybus is a convenient coach service from Keflavík International Airport to Reykjavík, operating in connection with all arriving flights. Coaches are located just outside the arrivals terminal.
Depending on which of our buildings you are staying in, the closest bus stops for tour pick-up and drop-off are stops #6 and #14. Our default is stop #14, which we recommend using. The day before your arrival, we will confirm which building you will be staying in, and reception can then help you schedule pickups from the stop closest to your building.
Our properties tell the historic tales of a small yet bustling Reykjavík in the early to mid 1900s.

Yes. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi to all our guests, both in the apartments and throughout the public areas of our buildings.
We offer a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Each apartment has a kitchenette equipped with cooking utensils and cookware, a coffee machine, kettle and refrigerator, along with complimentary coffee capsules, tea, cooking oil and salt and pepper.
