TERMS AND CONDITIONS — FLÓRACOLLECTION WEBSITE
These terms govern your use of the floracollection.is website ("theWebsite"), operated by Flóra hotels ehf. ("we," "us,""the Company"). They do not govern bookings themselves. A bookingmade through this Website is a contract between you and the company operatingthe hotel concerned, as set out in Section 2 below.
1. WEBSITE PURPOSE
floracollection.is provides information about the hotels and venues ofthe Flóra hotels group, each of which is operated by a separate company:ODDSSON Midtown (ODDSSON Midtown hótel ehf., reg. no. 500620-0210), ODDSSONDowntown (ODDSSON downtown hótel ehf., reg. no. 590115-0530), ReykjavíkResidence Hotel (Reykjavík Residence Hótel ehf., reg. no. 530906-0940), TowerSuites Reykjavík (Tower Suites Reykjavík ehf., reg. no. 571017-1640), 201 Hótel(201 Hótel ehf., reg. no. 410617-1450) and Port 9 wine bar (Port 9 ehf., reg.no. 510216-1130). The Website allows visitors to make bookings with the hotelsthrough the BookVisit booking engine.
2. BOOKING ENGINE
Bookings made through this Website are received through BookVisit, abooking engine provided by Visit Group and used by the hotels. BookVisit is atechnical service provider and processes your data on behalf of the hotel youbook with; it is not a party to the booking. The accommodation contract,including price, payment, confirmation, cancellation and refunds, is concludedbetween you and the company operating the hotel concerned, on the booking termsshown to you before you confirm the booking and in the booking confirmation.
Terms relating to your stay —including check-in/check-out, cancellation policy, and guest conduct — are setout in the booking terms of the hotel concerned, which are shown to you beforeyou confirm a booking and in the booking confirmation. We recommend reviewingthese before completing a booking.
We are not liable for temporary unavailability, delays or technicalerrors originating from the booking engine. If you experience a bookingdiscrepancy caused by a fault in the booking engine, contact the hotelconcerned or us and we will resolve it with the provider.
3. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to keep property descriptions, images, andpricing information on the Website accurate and up to date. However, prices andavailability shown on the Website are indicative; the price and terms stated inthe booking confirmation from the hotel are the ones that apply. We reserve theright to correct errors in Website content without liability for any resultingdiscrepancy.
4. WEBSITE USE
You agree to use the Websiteonly for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Website or itsunderlying systems
- Introduce malware, scripts,or automated tools intended to disrupt or scrape the Website
- Misrepresent your identitywhen using the Website's contact or booking features
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website forany user who breaches these terms.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content onfloracollection.is, including text, images, logos, and design, is the propertyof Flóra hotels or its licensors and is protected under Icelandic andinternational copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use thiscontent for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
6. LIABILITY
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of theWebsite, including but not limited to inaccuracies in content, temporaryunavailability of the Website, or issues arising from third-party serviceslinked from the Website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannotbe excluded under Icelandic law.
We do not guaranteeuninterrupted or error-free access to the Website and are not liable for lossesresulting from downtime, maintenance, or technical failure.
7. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including socialmedia platforms. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacypractices of any third-party website.
8. PRIVACY
Personal data collected through the Website (for example, via contactforms or newsletter sign-up) is processed by Flóra hotels ehf. as controller inaccordance with our Website Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, both available onthe Website, in compliance with Act No. 90/2018 on Data Protection and theProcessing of Personal Data and the GDPR. Personal data submitted as part of abooking is processed by the company operating the hotel you book with, ascontroller, in accordance with the Guest Privacy Policy of the hotels,available on the websites of the hotels.
9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect atthe time of your visit to the Website applies. Continued use of the Websiteafter changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any dispute arisingfrom your use of the Website shall be brought before the Reykjavík DistrictCourt (Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur), without prejudice to any mandatory consumerprotection rights you may have in your country of residence.
